    hi,

I tried to install win11 but it failed. Now I'd like to remove parallels entirely and resintall. I remove the application by dropping to the trash, then I remove any temp install files in ~/Libraries folder. I reinstall and all looks good, until parallels launches and it opens the win11 window exactly as it was before (with the same error). How do I get around this, where is it saving this saved state? I removed the files in ~/Libraries/Saved Application States too.

    thanks

    Hey!

There are still some lingering Parallels files. Try this:

Delete VM files: Go to ~/Documents/Parallels and look for any.pvm files; delete them.
Remove Preferences: Remove all Parallels-related prefs from ~/Library/Preferences, including com.parallels.desktop. list
Clear Caches & Logs: Clear any Parallels files in ~/Library/Caches and ~/Library/Logs
Reboot: Reboot your Mac before reinstalling Parallels.

That should help reset everything! Let me know if it works!
