Yesterday I ran into a problem saving corel draw files to a shared folder using the latest version of parallels and vista on my new macbook pro. The problem was anytime I saved an edited file in Corel Draw it would tell me the file was read only and to save the file with a new name. It opens and creates new files just fine but I found even a new file would still require me to change the name when it was saved. After digging through the info tab on the OS X side I think the file extention is the issue. Corel Draw saves files as .cdr and OS X thinks this is a DVD/CD-R master image which means the files are read only. Is there a way that I can add the .cdr file extention to the OS X system so it will recognize it as a file extention and not just as a cd that is not rewriteable
