    My first post!

I'm not sure where to put this request, so I picked the most general category.

I'm a novice Mac/Parallels user. Sometimes I need technical support, but I don't need a techie to come to my office to provide that support.

How can I find a techie who's experienced with both Mac and Windows so that I get the full support I need? I have phoned all over in my area and could find no one experienced with both + Parallels. Then I reasoned, through the wonder of remote access, it doesn't matter where the techie is located, so I came here to ask.

    Thanks.

Hugh, I don't really have time to run my computer like a pro, but your point is well-taken: I should know the basics. No more just getting in the car and drivin'. :)

Can you suggest a (single) book I can buy that pretty much covers the basics? Thanks.
