I would like to be able to drag a file from the finder and drop it onto a shortcut or script that will open a new email in microsoft office outlook running in a windows XP virtual machine via parallels. Ideally this process would work similar to the "SendTo" command in windows (ie, right click a file, select "SendTo mail recipient", then have a email message open with the file already attached, except that it is peformed from the finder, not windows explorer). I tried making a shortcut to outlook containing the the following target, which is pattered after the URL:MailTo Protocol:

    "C:\PROGRA~1\MICROS~2\OFFICE11\OUTLOOK.EXE" -c IPM.Note /m "%1"

I placed this shortcut on my finder toolbar, and when clicked, it does open an new email in microsoft outlook in the guest XP OS (after clicking through a security warning). However, it does accept or attach a "dropped" file.

Although imperfect, this can be made to work as is using a multi-step process (click shortcut, click security warning), then drag the file to the newly created email message), but ideally I would to:

    1. Elminate the security warning when I click the shortcut (perhaps by making an entry in "trusted sites" via internet explorer, but not sure what to enter).

    or if possible

    2. Create a shortcut or script that will automate the entire process of opening the email and attaching the dropped file.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
