I am updating my recently installed windows xp, but after i have successfully downloaded the windows xp service pack 2 and attempted to install the software i receive error messages saying the "data is invalid." What is happening here? Has anyone else install SP2
Try to download SP2 manually from http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...be-3b8e-4f30-8245-9e368d3cdb5a&DisplayLang=en
Direct download still fails I tried downloading the sp 2 update executable directly, it still fails with "the data is invalid."
