Hi, I am testing Parallels for Mac with Windows 7. I've mounted an exFAT drive to the Mac and shared this to a Windows drive. The drive under Windows is seen als network drive and okay till so far. Now it seems the drive is treated case sensitive, I can create two files with the same name in the same folder with different capitals. I have a few applications that are expecting a non case-sensitive drive: they are accessing the file: "D:/Directory/File.txt" as following: "d:/directory/file.txt" and thus can't find the file. I do not like to mount the drive directly to the Windows VM, I like to access the files on the drive even when Parallels is not running. So the option to share a MAC drive is great, only there should be a selection to share it as case-sensitive or not IMHO. For now I like to know if there's a workaround for this, I am thinking about buying Parallels if this will work. Regards, Rolf
To bad nobody replies... As temporary workaround I mounted the drive directly to the Windows VM, resulting in accessing my files from MAC only when the VM is running. Not an optimal solution. Anyone??
