After running P 4.0 Desktop with a Mac OS X Server guest VM for a period of time, shared folder content cannot be seen despite the folder themselves still being present. Has anyone else seen this issue?

Check the following -- click Start -> Run, type \\.PSF
Host OS Home folder should appear. If it's empty then click Configure on VM's window, remove all items under Shared Folders, restart VM. If it didn't help reinstall Parallels Tools (Virtual machine -> Reinstall Parallels Tools). Also, run services.msc from Start -> Run and check if Parallels Shared Folders service is running.

I have a similer thread, which sounds like the exact same issue.

my .psf folder is still present, the shares appear to still be in place, but I get a permissions error when I double click on them (sometimes it prompts me for a login, sometimes it just says the folder cannot be accessed)...

I tried un-installing & re-installing parallels tools, as well as removing & re-adding the shared folders.

This also effects my "shared profile" settings, as when I try to go to my desktop folder I get an error as well...

Mine seems to occur specifically after suspending then restoring the VM...

Anyway, the thread I started is here: http://forum.parallels.com/newreply.php?do=newreply&noquote=1&p=139993

All be it based on your description, this may only be a similar occurence and not the exact problem (hard to tell for certain)...

I guess, it occurs after suspend/resume?
