System: MacBook Pro running Leopard (10.5.8), with Parallels 3.0 Build 5608 and Win XP SP3 as the guest OS. (I'm still running 3.0 / 5608 because of compatibility issues with later versions.) I returned to Parallels after a brief dalliance with Fusion :-( and find that I can no longer assign my Windows Shared folder a drive letter. When I do this I get prompted for a password that I do not know. I have the same problem when clicking on the Parallels Shared Folders icon on the Win XP desktop - same password prompt. But when I bring up Windows Explorer I can see and access the Shared Folder, though I am still unable to edit a file on the folder and save it (same password prompt). Suggestions are very welcome! Thanks! <edit> And Yes, I've uninstalled and re-installed Parallels Tools many times.
