I have installed the latest Ubuntu build (Edgy) and would like to test a few sites in development using various Linux browsers. What I've done for Windows XP is to simply drop the test pages into the shared folder that XP can see and I would like to do the same in Ubuntu. However, I cannot seem to find that equivalent. This may be down to the fact that I'm not looking in the right place - as I'm not all that familiar with Linux. Can anyone tell me what I need to do? Thanks
Why not just goto SystemPrefs>Sharing, and turn on "Personal Web Sharing", drop your html files into you <username>/Sites folder. Then open up your Virtual Machine, and browse to http://your-mac-ip-address/~your-username/ That should work fine for you.
