Shared Folders not working

I can access the Mac file system from within Windows, but not vice versa. From Virtual Machine/Configure/Shared Folders I have the following checked:

* Share Mac OS X folders with Windows/All disks
* Share all Windows disks with Mac OS X/Mount virtual disks to Mac OS X desktop

On the Windows desktop there is an icon called "Parallels Shared Folders" which allows me to access the Mac OS X file systems but there is nothing on the Mac Desktop.
