I was just wondering if there is a way to see Windows shared folders from OSX using Parallels (similar to how OSX can share a folder that can be seen in Windows)

    Thanks!

OS X drives are in a format not readible by Windows. Try loading something like MacDrive 6 on the windows side.

This only works if you have direct access to an OSX partition while running Windows, which you don't in Parallels.

what I meant was whether or not the Windows VM shared directory could be seen by OSX. Parallels certainly allows OSX shared directories to be set and viewed in the Windows VM. Sorry about the confusion.

As long as the Windows guest is running, and the directories you want to see from OSX are shared on the network, you should be able to connect to the share from OSX. I haven't tried it, but it works for other networked Windows machines on my LAN.
