I have my parallels (Win 7 Virtual Machine) running on "shared network" and it does not see a drive on my network. If I set it to "bridged network" I can see it. It appears that the "shared network" configuration makes it easier to share resources with the Mac OS so I think I want to use that. However, I need the Network Drive for my backups... Can anybody help? Am I correct in my understanding of the differences in network configurations? What is the difference between the shared and bridged network configurations?

    Thanks!
