I've found that Win XP SP2 seems to run quite happily in my office with its Windows servers running active directory when Parallels is set for bridged networking mode. However, when I switch to shared networking (which I would prefer to use as that is the easiest way to work with my Verizon wireless card and when traveling), Windows can't seem to communicate with the active directory servers. I've also found that for whatever reason, the Windows session is also unable to authenticate and communicate properly with our SQL Server when in shared mode.

Is it possible that the NAT configuration in shared mode is somehow dropping critical information from the network packets that causes the problem? Everything seems to run quite nicely in bridged mode.

    Any suggestions are appreciated.
