I created a new Parallels Desktop VM using the CentOS-7 appliance that is available for download in the controller. Unfortunately shared networking is not working and I am unable to connect to the internet. It says "Connecting" for about 30 seconds and then fails. The host Mac (running Catalina) is connected with no problem. I have a Windows 10 VM that is also working (connecting to internet) using shared networking. If I use a bridge network or use WiFi within the VM then the CentOS-7 VM is able to connect. The bridge network however is horribly slow, and in both cases this is not an acceptable workaround because I need to use Cisco AnyConnect VPN from the host computer.
