    Currently running Parallels Desktop 4.0.

On the windows side, I had to reorganize some folders including the My Documents folder.

When Shared Profiles are turned on for the Documents to My Documents folder, on the Windows side, a new instance of the My Documents folder is created showing only the items in the MAC Documents folder. Actually, this instance is seen in the open/save dialogs as a favorite place and on the desktop alias link. However, no other instance of this new My Documents window is visible in the file Explorer. In the explorer, if you open the My Documents folder, you see the actual Windows created My Documents folder and associated items.

If the Documents to My Documents folder is unchecked in Shared Profiles, then the My Documents folder on the Windows side resolves to the correct folder when either opening the alias My Documents folder on the desktop or when it's selected in the open/save dialog boxes.

Not sure why this is happening? I have tried turning the Shared Profiles on and off, reinstalled the Parallels VM, uninstalled and reinstalled the Parallels VM with the same result.

It seems like a problem somewhere in the registry where Parallels is not seeing the actual location or correct path to the My Documents folder. The My Documents folder is sitting inside the Windows User folder.

Any suggestions on how to fix this?
