Sharing VM across machines running OSX

Hi all, we are a web development team and are using parallels to run virtual environments that mimic our servers (Ubuntu, Passenger, Ruby, Rails) and would like to be able to create the VM once and distribute a copy of this VM to our developers.

I've seen this mentioned on the site but can't seem to find clear documentation on how to do this. Every time we have tried we run into a problem with the networking. The networking works in the VM on the machine where it was created but when that is distributed the networking. We are guessing something is being shared that shouldn't be but don't know where to look to trouble shoot this or find a definitive guide for how to accomplish this sort of task.

Any help or pointers to resources would be helpful!
