I am running Parallels 8 (Build 8.0.18494) on Mountain Lion. Prior to installing the build above (today), I could create a dock shortcut to the PVM file representing my virtual machine to launch it. After installing this build, the PVM now attempts to open in Parallels Mounter instead (and hangs, requiring a full restart of Mac OSX to clear the offending beach ball). Anyone else experiencing this problem? The fix is to re-associate the PVM with the Parallels Desktop app. Odd behaviour for a patch/build of Parallels to change the file association on OSX.
