Should I start over?

I purchased Parallels Desktop 3.0 for Mac on eBay. I use a MacBook with OSX 10.6.2 (Snow Leopard) On installation I get a message that this version of Parallels Desktop is not supported. What are my options (other than ditching Parallels altogether and using Boot Camp)?

Unfortunately, the minimum version of Parallels Desktop for Snow Leopard is 4.0

 

I understand that. Is the 3.0 I have upgradable since it has never been used?

 

Yes, if you have serial number for 3.0 it is possible to purchase an upgrade even without installing 3.0. Contact on any issue with that.
