Hi Currently the 2XClient.msi asks users for connection information which is a problem for us. Is it possible to get a version of 2XClient.msi which installs without asking the user anything? In our case the user can click on a website and will receive a custom ".2xa" containing all the connection information. So they have no need to setup a connection at installation time. In fact this is a real problem because we have users all over the country accessing the 2X server and we have no control over their desktops. All we need is to insure the client is installed without user interaction. Thanks, Simon
Solved: Silent Install for Windows Client Hi I just discovered the Orca tool from Microsoft which allows you to change the 2XClient.msi file. So I think I will be able to produce my own customer 2XClient.msi which does not ask for the prompts. I got the Orca installer from: [url=http://cid-27e6a35d1a492af7.s...d-27e6a35d1a492af7.skydrive.li ... s/orca.zip [/url]
Hi I used the Orca tool to modify the 2XClient.msi file but when I go to save the changes it tells me that not all the streams can be included and that I have to import some manually. Does another know what this means and how it is done? Thanks, Simon
