Hello everyone, I'm running a windows app in parallels that needs a launcher, foo-launcher.exe, to run. The launcher loads some stuff, starts foo.exe and then exits: I would like to launch foo by clicking an icon in the dock. If I put foo in the dock directly, it won't run because it needs the launcher to run first. Easy, you say, just put the launcher's icon in the dock. Not so quick. If I do that, the launcher icon remains in the dock while foo is running. I end up with two icons. Easy, you say, go to Preferences, Appearance and uncheck "Show applications in Dock". Almost, but I lose the arrow in the dock that tells me foo is running. Is there any hack, script, preference I can use to have a single icon in the dock launch foo-launcher when clicked and show an activation arrow when foo is running?
