So we're looking at a purchase of 25 seats very soon. One of the things that is not clear from the documentation is if the SMB version requires that IIS is installed on the TServer. We do not want to install IIS on our TS. We do need access from the WAN, but we are OK with requiring users to use the full blow client for that purpose, so no web portal required.

If IIS is required, we'd prefer to run the gateway piece on a separate Server. We only have a single TS, do we have to get the ENT version to run the gateway on a separate box?

    Hi there,

IIS is only needed if you want to make use of the web interface.

Still the IIS (or any web server), acn be installed on any other machine.
