Not a useful subject I know. I just need to rant. There's always something new that's messed up. There are so many knobs and switches. So many hacks and work-arounds. I switch back and forth between my home setup and my work setup. The chief difference lies in plugging different monitors into my laptop at each location. Parallells can't get it right. To save its life. To save my sanity. There's always something that starts not working. Scaling this. Retina that. Windows not launching. Internet bogging down. Try coherence. Try modality. Full screen? Maybe. Maybe not. On and on and on. It never ends. Once I get things working after hours of hacking? Well, along comes a "very important update" and changes everything. And round we go again. <sigh>
