You can start the installer from a CD fine, it reads the system configuration and finds all of the emulated hardware.. you can navigate a few menus, and then it boots the Solaris kernel from CD (for installation.) Then, the first step for language selection, once you press any key (any key on the keyboard) the vm receives a random character and continuously prints it over and over on the screen (but you can't actually seem to control the input at all at this point.) Then freezes... and.. game over.
