    I got the critical message error and was promoted to do the following steps listed in the guide for solving the critical error. I repaired my disk, didn't see any firewall settings from stopping the VM and uninstalled the Parallels desktop and then reinstalled as well as rebooted. Now when I open up the VM it acts as if its running and functioning yet the screen is black, nothing happens or functions, just black. Then when I try and shut it down it just loads for a very long time and stays loading while nothing ends up happening. So I can't shut it down or even get it to actually open, Does anyone know what the issue is?

    Hi DylanP1, We would suggest you to launch Parallels Desktop, select "Action" from Mac menu bar-> "Reset" and then start your Virtual Machine.
    If the issue persists, please try http://kb.parallels.com/113823 to fix Black screen issue.
