i hesitate to post this, but just in case others are feeling the same way.. while i am happier that *most* of the copy/paste problem is solved ( i now only have to restart every 3-4 days to get c/p back ) .. there is one very unusual repeating pattern that makes me, as a software developer, very uneasy...

I note that the very day that i get an update available notice from parallels that my virtual machines start bogging down immensely. In every case, it gets so bad that i can only force quit my vm. I have seen this happen now at *every* update notice. Nothing is changing in my daily routines. Nothing.

It is almost as if there is an internal boolean UpdateAvailable that is checked in code which causes enough delays that the user shuts down and decides "hey, i better upgrade now..."
