sony ericsson pc suite connection issue

Hi everyone, can someone possably tell me wether not being able to connect my k850i through pc suite is a common problem, or if not, how can i get mine to work?

My parallels is build 3224

windows recognises the phone is there, pc suite starts to connect it, then just dumps it for no reason!! all my other usb things work fine, its just this and its the only thing making me keep my big windows pc!

any help will be greatly appriciated
