Sound Forge Audio Problems

I have a trial vrs of parallels 7, on Macbook, win xp virtual, I have installed sound forge (audio editor)
I have a external firewire audio card, (MOTU ultralite mk3) on mac program all ok, in mac setting the external sound card is select by default in and out audio. In parallels setting the audio is select DEFAULT (in italian "predefinito")
in sound forge sound PLAY ok, but I can't record any audio in sound forge... the signal audio in ok, the vu meter in mac setting it's ok... but in sound forge record vu meter don't.

if I disconnect the firewire audio card, the sound come from mac mic into sound forge ok...

ps is very important for me use sound forge editor, for years I have constricted use mac and pc only for soundforge...
