    I’ve been noticing that the speed of my internet connection varies from time to time as I am on the web. As I cannot do anything immediately to speed it up, how can I check its speed to make sure I’m getting what I pay for for the internet connection?

    Are you asking about internet connection on a Windows virtual machine side? You may use SpeedTest for this purpose: http://speedtest.net
