    Hey community,

I have an issue where we are trying to get an SSH tunnel to work from the Windows 10 virtual machine. Everything works fine from a regular desktop but the goal is to get off the desktop and use the Mac and VM of W10. On the virtual machine I am not able to get down to the root directory, "C:\", is there a way to do this?

Also, I am curious if part of the issue is that we are using a IP and port to print but W10 uses this Windows Management Port instead of 9100, but supposedly this is 9100.

Any help anyone can be with the use of SSH from a VM would be awesome!

    Hello James16,

You can try changing the network mode to bridged on the VM and then check. You can refer this article and change the network mode. If you are still facing issues, let us know exactly what you are attempting through Secure Shell?

    Thanks,
    Ajith M.

The network mode is in bridged. The purpose of the SSH is to do a secure printing from a program to a local printer. Like I said we can get it to work on a straight windows machine, but not via virtual machine for some reason, it is getting blocked.

    Hello James16,

Can please tell us how the printer is connected to the virtual machine?

    Thanks,
    Ajith M.

First I shared it from the mac side but that did not work so I added it directly from W10 on the virtual machine.
