OK so I installed Win 8 on my MacBook pro with BootCamp 4 then installed Parallels and made a VM using the BootCamped Win8. So far very easy and very impressive - I have Sony Vegas 7 running in a window on my OSX desktop, and that damned Win8 metro interface doesn't get in the way as much. So what happens if I boot into Windows ? Do all the file changes I make in the VM get written to the files in the windows partition ? What about changes made in BC windows while the VM is shut down ? Will all the apps automatically recognise file changes etc - ie does the VM boot up the BC windows install every time you start it. Does it do this every time you shut down OSX ? What if you hibernate the BC Win8 then start the VM in OSX/Parallels ? I had to get on the phone to reactivate my Win8 within the VM......will the BC Win8 need reactivation when I restart ?
