Whoa... I just used the freeware tools g4u & presizer to increase the size of my VM image from 10G to 25G and when I run the new image the whole WinXP VM is literally 2x slower than the older smaller image. I got this just from running some simple tasks and a couple of benchmark programs. When I go back to the smaller image the system is back to its pretty responsive state. This is kind of strange behavior. Has anyone else seen this? Is it even posible that the PW system is sensitive to the virtual drive size? It seems wierd that the tools would screw up the image in that fashion without completely trashing it. If I had taken two freshly created WinXP systems of different size would I see this same kind of slowdown? I'm running PW on an 1.83ghz MBP with 2G of ram on a Hitachi 7200rpm 100G drive. Strange, Peter
