I can't find this fine print anywhere... I've bought several copies of Parallels over the years and I'm on v13 now. I'm considering getting v14. The standard edition (one-time, perpetual license) is $50 - so is the one-year subscription for the Pro version, at least to start with. I have a few questions:
    1. Will my cost remain $50/year after the first year or will it go up (and if so, to what)?
    2. If I don't renew the subscription, does Parallels stop working or do I just stop getting free updates?
    3. If I want to go back to the one-time purchase model after a year of the subscription, will I pay the upgrade price on the next version of Parallels or full cost?
I have to be honest... I don't like the subscription model at all. I don't use this software very much. I honestly only upgrade when I have to (ie, because I can't create a VM with the latest Mac OS version). So I'm trying to understand what I'm getting myself into if I switch to the subscription.

    Hi,
    1. Unfortunately we cannot promise you that the upgrade price will be the same next year. We cannot share any info about future upgrade until it has been officially published. But earlier the update price hasn't changed.
    2. If you purchase perpetual license, you will be able to use constantly. And once the subscription has expired you will have to prolong it to continue working with Parallels Desktop. Please check this article for more info https://kb.parallels.com/122929
    3. You can purchase the upgrade license and use your previous key for the confirmation.
And if you will decide to upgrade from Parallels Desktop Home to Parallels Desktop Pro -> please check this blog

Please let us know if you have any additional questions.
