I love coherence mode. The ability to have virtual machine applications and windows become first class citizens along with my host OS apps is just amazing. Also, I use VNC or RDC to work with applications on remote computers frequently. I am constantly annoyed by the fact that apps in my VNC apps are chained to the VNC session window when my VM apps work with the host OS so effortlessly. I would love to have the freedom I have with my VM applications, with my remote applications. Parallels is in a unique position to revolutionize the remote desktop market. You have already spent the man-hours to refine the coherence mode experience to the currently seamless feature. I remember what it was like with the first versions and how much refinement it took to get it to the point it is at today. If you were able build a VNC/RDC client with the coherence functionality built in, you would easily beat all other clients on the market. This would be a wide and deep moat of a feature. It would take any other company years to develop the functionality to compete with this. I dream of having multiple application folders in my dock. One for my mac, my VM, my Windows work computer, my home desktop, the server down the hall, etc. Opening an app from any application folder runs the app on the correct computer and gives me a window on my mac; seamlessly connecting to the remote computer if needed and integrating into the local desktop. This would be awesome, and I don't think I am the only one that would pay for this experience. Parallels Access is a step in the right direction. Please consider taking this a step further to a full featured desktop VNC-like client.
