Hi, A user I'm supporting is having an issue with symbolic links. So, he has his folders shared between his Mac and the parallels install of Linux. On the Mac, they are clearly symbolic links. But when he looks at the files from Linux, they appear as normal files. For the everyday editing of this files this is not an issue, as any changes he makes are saved properly. The issue, for him, is that he makes backups of his files using rsync to a remote machine. If he forgets and does this while under linux, the files that are supposed to be symbolic links get rsynced as normal files. Does anyone have any experience with this? Any suggestions for something to try?
