I have noticed with the advent of Parallels 5, the symbolic links I created on the Mac side (in a folder shared with my Windows XP virtual machine) no longer work on the Windows XP side. Any ideas how to fix this?

    For example:

dir1 is a shared folder with with a Windows XP virtual machine running under Parallels.
dir1 mounts in Windows XP as drive g:

    dir1 contains two directories dir2 and dir3
in dir2 (on the Mac side in the terminal) I create a symbolic link to dir3
    ln -s dir1/dir3 dir3

In Parallels 4, using Windows Explorer I could go into g:\dir2\dir3 and end up in g:\dir3
In Parallels 5, this no longer works.

I really wish someone at this company would at least just address these threads on this issue. Ignoring customers isn't wise for your bottom line and spreads distrust for your products.

So, how about it? Is anyone at this company even looking into this issue?
