    Hello,

I just got my MacBook Pro stolen.

So, I'm going to buy a new one and I'm thinking about how occasionally when running parallels with XP my computer would get extremely slow. I would check my system resources, and from my little knowledge of computers, it appeared that my free memory was like 12 megs and my unused was also low. I was boggled by this since I had 2 gigs of memory. I was wondering if parallels mainly eats memory or processing power?

Should I get 3 gigs of ram to get things to run more smoothly?

Should I run XP or vista on parallels on my new system? What are the system resources that get used with each? thanks!

Hi, Vista sucks. It eats memomry and CPU in Parallels... juist go for XP.
Here on my MacPro Quad XP is going great in Parallels.
