I do not use coherence as I like to keep my Windows work self-contained. I had Parallels 10 and from there when I"d tab to a different Mac app, I could still see Windows in the background. And I could tab back easily.

I decided to upgrade to version 13. Now when I tab out, Windows is hidden. Furthermore, when I tab back, the window is STILL hidden and I have to go to the "Window" menu to select my environment. This is not acceptable.

(I could tab to my individual windows application, but the point is, I like to tab back and forth quickly and now I can't. I regret upgrading so far...)

Hi @GusL, Please follow the steps mentioned below to fix the issue:
    1. Please take a snapshot, quit if you can see a window like //Mac/Home window
    2. Uninstall Parallels Tools from Control center -> Programs and feature
    3. In the Registry Editor, go to My Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Parallels and delete the Parallels Tools entry. Then go to My Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Parallels and delete the Parallels Tools entry.
    4. Restarted Windows virtual machine 5. Open run command -> type %temp% and run the "Setup" file to reinstall Parallels Tools

Thanks for the response. However, these steps do not remedy the situation.

    1) I'm not sure what you want from a snapshot. This isn't the kind of problem where a snapshot would do any good. I mean, when I am tabbed out, I see my Control Center, but Windows is invisible. When I bring Windows into focus, I can't have any mac windows in front (without using Coherence, which I don't want) or Windowed mode, which I suppose is acceptable, but it isn't as good as Parallels 10. Nevertheless, a screenshot of Control Center is attached.
    2) I was unable to uninstall parallels Tools from the control center. There is no such option. See screenshot. Also, no such menu option.
    3) I did delete those items from my registry. I shouldn't be surprised this did nothing. My problem isn't in windows at all, it is in the Mac OS.
    4) Unable to find this Setup file in this way, but I am able to reinstall Parallels Tools by other means.
