On Monday when I signed up for this forum, somebody forgot to send me an activation link by e-mail. So I couldn't activate my own accout. Thank goodness that the PMS still worked. I PM him twice I told him that I couldn't post and he activated my account for me. HOWEVER MORE IMPORTANTLY, Andrew told me that Parallels is going to upgrade their USB to 2.0 soon!!!!!!!!!! So that secret is out of the beg. THANK YOU PARALLELS FOR DOING THAT! I might as well tell you my Parallels problem in hopes that somebody out there will know how to solve it. Here's the two links. http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=32022&C=1301 and http://www.smithmicro.com/default.tpl?group=product_full&sku=HMCWA0EE&option= Parallels with XP installed just won't recognize the speakerphone modem. I tried to install the driver that came with the installation CD. I get half way through and all of the sudden a dialog box pops up and says device not found ! What's really weird when I start up Parallels I make sure I go into the devices menu, USB and checked USB HS SERVER CONVERTER. Right after that I see one of my modem lights actually flashing, like Parallels recognizes it. However when I tried to install the modem driver I can't. It's really weird! I'm sure that my HotFax software would work IF it would recognize the speakerphone modem but it doesn't.
