I am interested in getting the new 12" Macbook and was concerned with the compatibility of Parallels Desktop with it and its performance on this machine. The new 12" Macbook comes with 8GB of RAM with either a 1.1 GHz Intel Core M processor with turbo boost to 2.4 GHz or 1.2 GHz Intel Core M processor with turbo boost to 2.6 GHz. Your help is much appreciated.

Sure, this question isn't exactly current but I've been searching for an answer to it myself for a while now.
Luckily I was recently able to get my hands on a 12 inch MacBook with Core m3 to test Windows 10 on PD 12. I have to say I'm surprised how fluenty everything works. Granted, I'm not running anything especially demanding but Office 2016 apps and HD Youtube videos work perfectly fine.

With your current configuration, you're good to use Parallels Desktop for Mac. However, sign-up for a trial and see how it goes. You may refer to this guide to get started.
