I normally suspend my OS, so I don't usually see the bootup screen. Earlier today, parallels completely crashed on me, ending my windows session and causing me to restart windows (and parallels). Starting it up, I was a bit surprised when I wasn't able to move my mouse out of the screen during bootup. When I saw the message "click ctrl+alt to release mouse" in the status bar, I was afraid that ALL of my settings, including Parallels Tools, had been screwed up. While, of course, I learned that this was not the case after the computer had booted, I would suggest that this status bar message be changed to read "click ctrl+alt to release mouse during guest OS startup" or something similar. That way, the user is given an indication that the settings have not been changed. Cheers, Charles
