Got a new iMac and used the target drive via firewire cable method to setup the new iMac with my user accounts and apps and files. Everything seems fine except Parallels refuses to open. After a lot of pouring over the manual and online FAQ's I couldn't find anything about this so I did the following:

    uninstalled Parallels and reinstalled it

couldn't figure out how to direct it to my previously installed copy of Windows XP so I had to reinstall that into another virtual machine (I ended up with 4 Windows XP installs - don't even ask!)

Finally got one of them to come up, but now I need to delete the other ones. Problem is, I have several windows programs installed in the original virtual machine and I'd prefer to just tell Parallels to just use that one instead of the ones I've installed after that.

I have no clue about how to do that. How does one delete virtual machines. I'm totally confused about what components go where and I'm afraid to delete the wrong thing at this point. Help would be appreciated.
