I have a new iMac 2012 arriving tomorrow, I have a new Parallels 8 disk ready to install along with a new full version of Windows 7 Professional. I have an old iMac (2010 ish) with Parallels 8 installed with Windows 7 (it works great by the way, thanks).
I want to transfer all my Windows applications from the old iMac to the new one and run both machines on our office network. I found out today that the new iMacs don't have a DVD drive and I don't want to buy an external one as I will probably never use it after the new machine has been set-up.
Basically, I want the new iMac to be a carbon-copy of the old one.
    So, I have 3 questions:
    a) I think I can download Parallels 8 and Windows 7 Professional online & then use the licence keys in the boxes/disks (i.e. I don't need a DVD drive) - am I right?
    b) Do I install Parallels and Windows first & then use Migration Assistant (with linking ethernet cable) to transfer all applications and files?
    c) Will I have to enter licence/authorisation keys and passwords in the Windows applications on the new iMac (e.g. Sage Accounts & Payroll) or will they be transferred from the old iMac?

    Any help would be appreciated.
