Hi All, I'm currently holding standard license and have a few questions regarding the pro version: 1) Can I try out the pro version? Will it overwrite current standard version? 2) If it's going to overwrite current standard version, can I switch back to standard after trial period expired? 3) If I later (after trial out), and decided to subscribe to the Pro version and let say after one year, can I still switch back to Standard version? Thanks. Ringo
Hello Ringo, Parallels Desktop trial is full-featured without any functionality limitations. You get both Standard and Pro Edition features during the trial period, Pro Edition features are marked with a Pro sign in the application. After one year of Pro version you will be able to purchase Parallels Desktop Standard Edition (upgrade license) and activate it on your Mac. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.
Dear Ringo, we've received your reply: Thanks for the reply. My question is actually I wanted try out the Pro version and if I found out I don't need the Pro version at the end of trial period, can I revert ack to standard version. Please take note I'm currently using licensed Standard version. And would like to inform you that you can test Parallels Desktop Pro version and then revert back to the Parallels Desktop standard Edition. Also you can upgrade to Pro (test it and if you decide to revert back to the Standard one request a refund during the 30 days according to the Parallels Desktop refund policy).
