I keep trying to install Windows XP on Parallels, but it seems to always freeze on one of the screens when the virtual machine boots up again and begins finalizing installation. Its incredibly frustrating, and I dont know why its doing this. Last night I finally got it to get all the way to load the Windows desktop, but when I went to install a simple browser based research program, Parallels quit unexpectedly and when I relauched it, it was as if Windows had never been installed. I only have like two days before the trial number expires, I would like to see if this thing is capable of working for me. Any suggestions?
I am using a brand new 2.2 GHz MacBook Pro with Leopard 10.5.1 installed on a 120GB hard drive with 4 gb of ram and using the 5160.0 build of Parallels 3.0
