    Hi everyone,

I've been digging through forums and tech blogs to find a solution to my issue, but no luck so far. Hopefully, someone in the Iran Tahsil community has run into this and can offer some advice!

After switching to a MacBook with an Apple M2 chip, I've been facing a frustrating problem with Microsoft Word macros in a Parallels Desktop virtual machine running Windows 11 ARM (latest 24H2 build). When I stop a macro mid-execution (e.g., using Ctrl+Break), I can't run it--or any other macro--again without restarting Windows entirely. The error I get is: "Code execution interrupted," and it consistently stops at the same line where I interrupted it. This never happened on my older Intel-based MacBook using Parallels, so I suspect it's related to the ARM architecture or how Parallels interacts with Apple Silicon.

To troubleshoot, I followed tips from Microsoft's Office Support--like resetting macro settings and checking VBA permissions--but no dice. I even set up a fresh virtual machine with a clean install of Windows 11 ARM and Microsoft Office, created a basic macro for testing, and still hit the same issue. It's slowing down my workflow, especially for automating academic tasks like formatting research papers or managing citations.

Has anyone in the community faced this issue when using Word macros in a virtualized environment on a Silicon Mac? Are there specific settings in Parallels or workarounds in Word's VBA editor that might help? I've also posted this question on Microsoft's Community Forum but thought I'd tap into the expertise here, especially from those using similar setups for educational projects or programming.

Any suggestions or insights would be a lifesaver! Also, if you know of any reliable resources for learning more about VBA programming for academic purposes, I'd love to hear about them. I found some helpful guides on Iran Tahsil's programming section but am open to other recommendations.

    Thanks in advance!
