Trouble with Oceanic OceanLog 2.x

    Has anyone had any experience with Oceanic OceanLog 2.x Dive software? I can run the software, and it functions normally until I click the button to download new dives from my dive computer. Once I do that, the entire windows environment locks up and I have to restart the VM from Parallels.

    So far this is the first program I have run across that doesn't act correctly in Parallels. If anyone has any suggestions regardless if they have any experience with this software, I'm willing to try.

    The system locks up before I even connect the device via USB, so not having a dive computer shouldn't be an issue.

    VM Environment: Windows 7 64bit - 3gig Ram.
    Host Environment: OSX 10.8.2 - 3.4 Ghz i7, 8Gig Ram

    Well I dont think this is a Parallels issue anymore. I tried installing this under Bootcamp and had the same issues.

    I think Ill try installing a Vista VM and see if that works. (I have this installed on 2 other Vista machines without issue [both 64 & 32 bit].)
