I have two VMs created, one to host Vista RC2 (Build 5744), the other WinXP sp2. After upgrading to build 3094, I noticed some strange behavior, wherein after logging in to Windows in one VM, the other would suddenly start up (launching a new instance of Parallels, etc.). After a bit of troubleshooting, I was able to track this down to having the "Show Applications in Dock" feature activated. What led me to that was that I noticed that each time the second VM would launch immediately after an application had been started in the first and its icon appeared in the OS X dock. I suspect this has to do with the way the windows application stubs (the items in the "Windows Applications" folder) are created to allow them to show up in the dock, but am not sure. This behavior occurs regardless of which VM is the first to create items in the Windows Applications folder. Given that there are two betas here - Parallels and Vista - I'm not upset about this but was curious if others have seen the same thing and if it happens with other Windows OS pairs than Vista and XP (or Vista and anything).
