I have the following task: to keep internet connection trough wifi for main system (OS X), and provide another internet connection to virtual parallels windows in the same computer. As a solution I'm going to provide internet though 3g usb modem. Modem should be visible by virtual machine but not for main osx operation system. Is anybody have some experience of that configuration? I's it even possible?
Hi Andrej1, You can try to connect USB MODEM then mount USB directly to Windows by selecting Devices -> External devices -> [USB Modem] or change the network mode to bridged and select USB MODEM, so Windows will use USB for internet and Mac will use default adapter for internet. Thanks, Ajith M.
