    Hello,
I just bought a new iMac i7 today and Installed Parallels 5 and so far have been able to install Windows 7, Mac OS X Server. But as it stands I am unable to install Ubuntu 10.04 because when booting to an ISO I get to the first Ubuntu boot screen and get an I/O error.

Has anyone experienced this so far. So far reading suggest IDE driver issues but I don't see why that would be considered everyone else has been able to install thus far.

If anyone has any suggestions that would be great.
