Parallels tells me that for Ubuntu 12.04 Server (no gui) I need to manually update Parallels Tools. So I'm following the Help instructions for that, "Installing and Upgrading Parallels Tools in Text Mode in Linux".

However, when I get to the part where is says to mount /dev/cdrom to /media/cdrom, cd to /media/cdrom, and run ./install... there's no install script there or in any subdirectory. Any idea what I'm doing wrong here?

No install script in Parallels Tools for Paralles Desktop 9 in Linux Guest OS

I am getting the same issue as VaurumT. There is no install script in the mounted Parallels tools cdrom. The article suggested by Looran is a generic install guide. How to about this specific issue?
