Parallels tells me that for Ubuntu 12.04 Server (no gui) I need to manually update Parallels Tools. So I'm following the Help instructions for that, "Installing and Upgrading Parallels Tools in Text Mode in Linux". However, when I get to the part where is says to mount /dev/cdrom to /media/cdrom, cd to /media/cdrom, and run ./install... there's no install script there or in any subdirectory. Any idea what I'm doing wrong here?
Hi VaurumT, Please follow the steps mentioned on the article below to install Parallels Tools in your Ubuntu Virtual Machine: http://kb.parallels.com/113394 Thanks, Looran
No install script in Parallels Tools for Paralles Desktop 9 in Linux Guest OS I am getting the same issue as VaurumT. There is no install script in the mounted Parallels tools cdrom. The article suggested by Looran is a generic install guide. How to about this specific issue?
